What uses the power

Most CPAP machines draw 30 to 60 W on their own. The heated humidifier and heated tube can double or triple that, which is why the humidifier column drops so sharply. Turning the humidifier off, or lowering its setting, is the biggest single way to stretch a charge.

Use a DC adapter if you can

Many CPAP makers sell a 12 V DC cable or converter. Running from the station's 12 V port skips the inverter and gives you roughly 8% more runtime than the AC outlet.

Why 300 Wh stations aren't enough

A 288 Wh station like the Jackery Explorer 300 v2 lasts about six hours at 40 W, short of a full night. They work as a top-up, not as your only source.

This page compares power stations, not medical devices. Ask your equipment supplier or doctor before running a CPAP from battery power, and check your machine's real draw in its manual.
